South Dublin County Council employs two full-time Veterinary Officers. For complaints or queries, please contact the Veterinary Section at (01) 4149168 or (01) 4149169. The Veterinary Section is involved in a broad range of duties relating to Veterinary Public Health. One of these areas is Animal Welfare. More information on Veterinary Services.
In dealing with animal welfare the Veterinary Department may co-operate with other bodies e.g. Department of Agriculture and Food, the DSPCA and the Gardaí.
Animal Pounds:
